A large boarding and training facility located outside of Aspen. Managed by Monroe Summers and Patti Watson, a variety of trainers work out of there, including Michelle Bonfils-Thibeault, Lisa Hall- Flynn, Mary Margaret Thomas, Ginger Opp, Shannon Williams, Debbie Fisher, and Christina Grandy.
Paradise Farms
Kim and George Dixon’s website; Kim is a professional rider and trainer and the two operate in a variety of facilities throughout the valley.
Iron Rose Ranch
A premier cutting horse ranch in Carbondale, operating a large scale breeding, training and competition operation.
The Other Side Ranch
A boarding and riding facility located in the Old Snowmass area by Kate McBride. Aside from standard boarding services, Kate offers a variety of rehabilitation services. She is a certified veterinary technician and currently expanding her services to include an indoor underwater treadmill (the Aquacizer).

A private English riding summer camp and riding academy , based in Carbondale. Currently building a beautiful new indoor facility.
Skyline Ranch
A competetive reining facility in Carbondale owned and operated by Darlene Woodward. Offers boarding and training, their current trainer is Ryan Anderson.
Cedar Ridge Ranch
A boarding facility in Carbondale owned by Pam and Randy Johnson. Both Western and English riders board here, it is also home to Alexandra’s Cross Country Club, offering a full cross country course for many levels.
Kurtz Ranch
Located north of Steamboat Springs, the Kurtz family owned ranch specializes in sales and training of working cow horses, ropers and ranch versatility.

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), established in 1863, is a not-for-profit association representing more than 81,500 veterinarians working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia, and uniformed services. Structured to work for its members, the AVMA acts as a collective voice for its membership and for the profession.

CVMA exists to enhance animal health and welfare, promote the human/animal bond, protect public health, foster excellence in veterinary medicince through education, advocacy and outreach.

AAEP mission is to improve the health and welfare of the horse, to further the professional development of its members, and to provide resources and leadership for the benefit of the equine industry.

The ACVS defines the standards of surgical excellence for the profession, promotes advancements in veterinary surgery, and provides the latest in surgical educational programs. By fostering the highest standards of excellence in veterinary surgery, the ACVS is helping the veterinary profession achieve its goals of providing outstanding service to the public and care to animals.
